ADJUSTING THE BIO BIDET BB-1000 FOR YOU

I Installed a BB-1000 on Saturday 29/10/16 and as usual called back the customer to see if they had any Questions a couple of days later.

The Bio Bidet has various settings to allow for everyone's differences, this includes
- 5 Different Position Settings
- 3 Different Water Temp Settings
- 5 Different Water Pressure Settings
- 5 Different Air Temp Settings
- A move function to allow a larger Area Wash

You must remember each and every one of you are a Different Make :)

It will take a Few goes to get your setting correct to suite your Body

I am Happy to go through these options in more Detail with you if needed.

What I found out.

Washing

You may need to raise the Water Temp to help with your Wash

You May need to use the Move Function to help with your Wash

Drying

This Bidet has a Slightly Longer Drying time than most! I have found this better as some other Brands need to be activated twice to Dry

You May need to Raise the Dryer Temp to suite you.

I found this one out for myself - you may need to slightly open your legs to allow the Air to create a flow for better drying.

Again, every one is Different so Please Take the Time to Experiment.

And read the instruction manual before and even during the set up period!

Any Questions please feel free to ring

There is not one correct Bidet for everyone! and Every Toilet!

Ranking I have used is for
Cost, Warranty, Service, Ease of Use, Fits to toilet, Problems I have found out.

1 - BB-1000 Bio Bidet
Reasons
-PRICE - Below $1000 Installed Through Wee Plumb
-This is the only Bidet I have found that comes with 2 years Warranty, and this Warranty also includes Labor to service it.
-Controller keeps settings if power is lost
-Controller is very Basic
-Enema Wash Function
-Nozzle Settings and Water Pressure Settings have 5 Different Levels (others have 3)
-Comes with all functions expected
-Energy Saving Setting
-Seat Sensor - Eliminates your Bathroom/Toilet from getting a wash from the little ones :)
-I have been able to install on 99% of Toilets

- Fits on 99% of Toilets

6 - Coway BA08 (Worst Bidet in my opinion!)

Aged Care?

Why do we call it this?

I had a customer this week, that asked me to remove their Bidet from their Old address and re install it at their new Address, within a Uniting Care, Aged Care Residence.

Arriving at the New Residence I was informed by on of the Staff, and Office Person that I was not Allowed to Do this without permission!

I asked if I could visit the Customer of mine and explain this to them?

After my visit to my customer, who were Husband and Wife.
(Wife was the owner of the Existing Bidet I was to Install)
(Husband was interested in One for himself)

I explained the situation to Wife that she needed to get permission from management to install the Bidet she owns into her unit.

I then went back to the Office and asked if I could Talk to the Manager about it?

I meet with the Clinical Manager, and was advised that renovations on the units had just been completed.

I explained to Her what a Bidet - Electronic Toilet Seat was! This was not what she was thinking it was going to be, She thought I was installing a whole new European Bidet!

At the end of our meeting She said she will take it to who ever is above her, to see what she can do to get permission to at least egt the Existing Bidet installed for Wife.

I then went back to Explain this to Wife. Who really misses her Bidet.

So this was all on 21/07/16

Lets see how we go!     :)   :)   :)

ABOUT BIDET TOILET SEATS & UNDER-TOILET SEAT BIDET ATTACHMENTS

There are many Questions surrounding bidets and bidet toilet seats. The main reason is because many people do not understand how they work or why they are beneficial to health, hygiene and general well being. Here are some answers to some of the more frequently asked questions about bidets and associated bidet units.

WHAT IS A BIDET?
A bidet (pronounced "bee-day") is a unit designed to clean the rectal and genital areas using a jet or spray of water. The original bidet was a stand-alone ceramic unit that looked like a toilet but without flushing capabilities. Users had to finish using the toilet, them move to the secondary unit for cleaning.

WHAT IS A BIDET TOILET SEAT?
Bidet toilet seats, unlike the original bidet, are installed directly onto the existing toilet bowl, creating one single streamlined fixture rather than requiring two different units in the bathroom. This saves on space and cost while introducing a variety of new features that make going to the bathroom easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable.

HOW DOES A BIDET TOILET SEAT OPERATE?
By turning on the water at the press of a button (on electric models) or by using adjustable knobs (on non-electric models), you can wash yourself automatically. Electric models are also equipped with a drying function that blows warm air onto your skin, drying it before you leave the seat. Wiping becomes unnecessary as all of the cleaning functions are performed by the unit itself.

WHAT IS THE COST OF A BIDET TOILET SEAT AND IS IT WORTH THE MONEY?
Prices can vary significantly between non-electric and electric models starting from $89 for simple under-toilet seat bidet attachments. What is important to consider is that it is an investment towards good health and well-being.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING A BIDET TOILET SEAT?
The use of a bidet toilet seat can mitigate the onset of various health issues. A bidet toilet seat can help reduce inflammation caused by problems such as hemorrhoids and can help to improve genital and rectal health, making it a worthwhile investment. Moreover, it prevents hands from coming into contact with contaminants.

WHO CAN USE A BIDET TOILET SEAT?
Anyone can use a bidet toilet seat. It is of particular benefit to people with disabilities or special needs an to those who perhaps are finding it increasingly difficult to remain independent. Bidet toilet seats work well for those who have limited range of motion and/or struggle with cleaning as it eliminates straining and stretching. Unlike traditional bidets, an attached bidet toilet seat does not require the user to traverse from one fixture to another for cleaning, making it easier for them to clean themselves with the added bonus of helping to retain their personal dignity, not to mention making it easier for carers. If you or someone you know fits into this category, an attachable bidet toilet seat may simplify the cleaning process greatly.

A switch in personal hygiene habits can make a big difference to health. Unfortunately, many Australians have a real aversion to the idea of using a bidet. The idea of switching to a bidet for some may be difficult. However, the stark reality is that bidets actually clean the rectal and genital areas far better than toilet paper.

Contemporary bidet toilet seats also offer much more flexibility and versatility than the traditional ceramic bidet. They are far easier to install and easy to remove. If you decide to move house you can remove the seat and take it with you. And if guests to your home are uncomfortable using your bidet toilet seat, they can simply use the bidet seat as they would a regular toilet seat.

There is a lot to recommend about these bidet toilet seats and under-toilet seat bidet attachments, but the clincher for many is affordability. Many people who can't afford the expense of buying and installing a traditional bidet or don't have the space, are surprised by the affordability of bidet toilet seats and under-toilet seat attachments - a luxury that you can have for the sake of your personal hygiene. And for those who are still squeamish at the thought of using one: Don't knock it until you've tried it. If you have doubts, why not consider buying a cheaper model first, then graduate to a better model over time. You will wonder why it took you so long to make the healthier lifestyle upgrade!
